Using the site

Ventriloquism.org is a reference work about the art of ventriloquism, free to read. You may link to it and quote it with attribution. Please do not scrape it wholesale or republish substantial parts as your own.

What you send us

When you submit material through the submission form:

You keep ownership of your words and photographs.
You give us permission to publish that material on a page about you, and to edit it for length and clarity.
You confirm that photographs you send are yours to share, or that you have the right to share them.
You can ask us to correct or remove your page at any time.

Accuracy and corrections

We build pages from sourced research and from what performers tell us first-hand, and we flag what we have not verified rather than inventing it. We will get things wrong anyway. Corrections are welcome and acted on — tell us.

Messaging terms

If you provide a mobile number and separately opt in to text messages:

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.
The program is operated by Dummy Guy LLC/Ventriloquism.org. It carries transactional messages about your own profile and, with separate consent, promotional messages with news and announcements.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase, of submitting, or of having a page. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or messaging consent with third parties for marketing.
